Fame Academy

The National Youth Theatre is the world’s first youth theatre, which celebrated its Sixtieth anniversary in 2016. It has nurtured the talents of thousands of young actors, who had neither the chance nor the cash to get into elite drama schools, including Matt Smith, Helen Mirren, Daniel Day Lewis, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Matt Lucas. French Selection

The French Lycée in London is a South Kensington landmark. Home to De Gaulle’s French Government in exile during World War Two, it attracts the children of London’s large French expatriate community. There are other newer French schools in London and the Lycée is over-subscribed and its facilities over-crowded but parents, especially the big-shot bankers who live nearby, employ every tactic in the book to get their children a French education.
